China claims it built a quantum computer that’s 10 billion times faster than Google’s

+  State researchers in China recently developed a quantum computing system purported to be 10 billion times faster than Google’s “Sycamore” machine. If true, this would represent a significant milestone for the field.

China’s new Quantum tech is 100 trillion times faster than Google’s.

+  Google and China did not run the same calculations on their systems, so a direct comparison is impossible, but the research team estimates that its quantum computer is 100 trillion times faster than Googles.
